Clemson Fellowship of Christian Athletes

I have been involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at Clemson since my first semester in Fall 2023. This student-led organization meets weekly, with over 1,000 students in attendance. During my involvement, I went on two spring break trips to Cincinnati, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with FCA to volunteer with local nonprofit organizations. During my first trip in Spring 2024, my peers and I volunteered at a food pantry near Cincinnati and assisted with their inventory processing. Additionally, I volunteered at a local ranch, assisting with farm tasks. This was a great opportunity to build relationships with my peers and contribute to something meaningful! In addition, I served on the FCA band in Spring and Fall 2025. This experience was very enriching to my Clemson Experience, as I formed valuable relationships and created an unforgettable community at Clemson.

NewSpring Church

Since I came to Clemson in August 2023, I have been involved in the local community by serving in the band at NewSpring Church. This opportunity has allowed me to form a multi-generational community with residents while pursuing my passion for music. Outside of singing in the band, I participate in team-building days and other church-hosted activities. I have grown in my vocal craft, and I have also expanded my leadership skills through facilitating band rehearsals at Fuse - the student ministry of NewSpring. This includes ensuring logistics are communicated and that the team is prepared to maintain smooth service flow and a distraction-free environment. In addition, I have had a mentor through NewSpring to aid my personal growth. Serving at NewSpring has taught me how to pursue excellence while maintaining integrity and cultivating community.
